History
& Achievements :
- William Moulton enlisted as a member of the 18th
Plymounth Company. He was stationed on board the ship
" Scarborough" and
it was on this ship he left England for Australia.Following
his arrival in Sydney he served as a member of Watkin
Tench's company. Sent to Norfolk Island in 1792,he
remained as a settler on his grant of 60 acres.
Eventually leaving the Island he sailed with his family
to Hobart on board the " Lady Nelson" on the 14th
of December 1808. He occupied a 53 acre farm until his
death
