- Anns second husband was Patrick Hynes who
she married on the. Patrick was born C1843 in
- 8/1856, our first sight of Patrick Hynes on the
Melbourne muster - 40th Regiment of Foot.
(information again from the AJCP films)
- 5/4/1858, leaves Melbourne for Adelaide(same ship
as Patrick Clifford).
- 8/1858 muster, Patrick Hynes is granted good
conduct pay.Also 3/1858, PHin sick bay.
- 10/9/1860 muster, was granted second good conduct
pay.
- By 10/1862, PH has lost his good conduct pay.The
record says "Absent 19, 20,21 October and 28, 29
December,
- 5 days pay stopped." In 1863, absent 24 and
25 January.
- I do not know when he left the army - he was
certainly in there when he married Ann in 1864.
- Patrick dies of dysentery on the 15.2.1887.Ann
had died in May 1881 by strangling herself. She had spent
quite a bit of time in and out of an Asylum
