Marine Private John Gannon (....1788)

John Gannon enlisted in the Royal marines as part of the 59th Company. He served as
part of the convict guard on board the ship "Scarborough" prior to its departure from England. John sailed with the ship to Port Jackson and arrived as part of the first Fleet.
Following his arrival in Port Jackson, he became ill and died in hospital 21st of June 1788,  Died of fever 20 Jun 1788 at Hospital,
