Achievements :
Following Johns time in the Army and Mounted Police he
enlisted in the Police Force in 1857. But was dissmissed from
duty following a charge of gross neglect of duty. Allowing
prisoners under scentence to escape. The incedent occured on the
Western Road Patrol while John held the rank of Corporal. John
retired from the Police in November of 1864.
