- Humphrey Evans enlisted in the Royal Marines as a
member of the 15th Plymouth Company
- Humphrey was stationed on board the "
Friendship " and on the ship set sail for Australia.
Upon his arrival he was attached to Captain John Shea's
Company. .He eventually discharged from the Marines and
enlisted in the Royal New South Wales Regiment.
- He recieved a grant of 25 acres at Lane Cove.
While working on his land he went to Seven Hills to cut
timber,a large tree fell on his chest and he was killed.
