Private Alexander
Donaldson arrived in Australia as part of
the Royal Veteran Corps
on the 16/5/1828. His previous military service was 7 years with
an unknown (at present ) Regiment . He transferred to number 3
company from number 1 company of this Regiment . Number 3 company
was transferred to Tasmania arriving on board the ship "John
Barry " 26th of August 1828 with Alexander serving there until his
discharge.
