Sergeant # 312 COLLINS David arrived 19th October 1830, . Ship : " Southworth " arrived with his wife Margaret Pittard ( nee ) Jones Sailed to Bombay via the ship " Lord William " Margaret Pittard nee Jones was a widow of a sergeant of the 57th Regiment and they married in 1832 in Sydney. In 1833 they were posted to Moreton Bay where one of her children from the first marriage was drowned in the Brisbane River. Her grave is one of the 3 childrens graves that were exhumed from ther old cemetery and re interned at Toowong. One of the other children was Peter McAuley's son
