- He arrived in Tasmania as a
member of Number 3 Company Royal
Veterans of Tasmania (1826 - 1833) on the 26/8/1826 via
the ship " John Barry". In 1831 Patricks wife
and daughter were involved in an incident at their
residence at East Arn, Tamar River. Both Jane and
her daughter were wounded by spears in an attack by
aboriginals on their hut. Neither died from these wounds.
