    History & Achievements :

    Lieutenant Ralph Clark commisioned as a second Lieutenant on the 25th of August 1779. He was not
    allowed to bring his wife and family with him on the "friendship" when it sailed to New South Wales. During his time he wrote a journal of the times,this remains one of the most comprehensive personal writings of the events in Sydney. Ralph was transferred to Norfolk Island on the " Sirius" on the 4th of March 1790. The "Sirius was wrecked and Ralph lost most of his possesions.
