    History & Achievements :

    Marine Private Ralph Brough enlisted in the 5th Company of the Royal Marines. Following
    his arrival in Port Jackson he was attached to Watikin Tench's Company. Whilst in Sydney he worked and was paid as a carpenter. On the 6th of June 1789 Ralph was sent to Norfolk Island on board the ship " Supply". He was promoted to Corporal but was soon reduced in rank for supplying spirits to two females.
