    History & Achievements :

    Josiah Bosworth served his Regiment from 1835 until 1841. He came to be in Tasmania following his conviction along with fellow soldier Thomas Deashaw for Highway Robbery. Both men were transported to the penal colony of Tasmania. This conviction ended his military career on the 15th of February 1841.
