I'd be delighted to hear from anyone who has knowledge of Isaac & Margaret Bennett and their daughter Sarah Ann Bennett.

    Area Settled :

    Children :
Margaret Augusta born 4 May 1846 in Geelong;  Sarah Ann born 31 Jan 1848 in Launceston and David H born ? 1849 in Sydney and possibly died in 1860

    History & Achievements :

According to Sands Directory ( 1858 / 9 edition ) Isaac was a grocer in South Head Road, Paddington, Sydney.   The 1863 edition describes him as the licensed victualler of the Volunteer and Military Hotel, Paddington.   In the 1865 edition, the LV was Mrs M Bennett, who by 1869 had changed the pub's name to the Londonderry Inn.   By 1871 Mrs Bennett was no longer listed and the pub's name appears to have changed to London Tavern.
