On the 11th of March 1821 the Government Brig " Lady Nelson" sailed with the company of the cutter "Mermaid " and the schooner "Prince Regent ". Those recorded were

NOTE 1

Sergeant William CLAYTON enlisted 25 June 1803, age 20years of age . He enlisted at Preston, Lancashire. a previous trade of weaver. He discharged on the 22nd of August 1828. reasons loss of sight . He was awarded the M.G.S.M with clasps for , Talavera, Busaco, Albuera, Ciudad Rodrigo, Badajoz & Salamanca.

NOTE 2

Sergeant William DOUGLAS enlisted 12 September 1818, age 16 years of age . He enlisted at Manchester his previous trade was a butcher . He saw previous service with the 3rd Battalion 14th Regiment The Buckingham Regiment from the 3rd of December 1813 to 23rd December 1817 served with this Regiment at Waterloo.

NOTE 3

Drummer Edward Marshall enlisted at Northhampton on the 4th October 1816 aged 16 years of age. He was a shoemaker prior to enlistment. Edward discharged on the 11th of August 1835 at Canterbury England.

NOTE 4

Private John Bury enlisted at Manchester on the 15th August 1803 aged 18 years of age. He was a Weaver prior to enlistment. John discharged on the 12th of June 1828 India. John was awarded the M.G.S.M with clasps for Talavera, Busaco, Albuera & Badajoz

NOTE 5

Private Thomas Green enlisted at Norwich on the 24th March 1817 aged 17 years &  was a Servant prior to enlistment. Edward discharged on the 31st of August 1835 at Canterbury England.

NOTE 6

Private Michael Martin enlisted at Dublin on the 29th July 1818 aged 17 . He was a Labourer prior to enlistment. Edward discharged on the 11th of August 1835 at Canterbury England.

NOTE7

Private William McLure enlisted at Dublin on the 2nd of December 1816 aged 17. He was a Blacksmith prior to enlistment. Michael deserted from the Regiment. He rejoined the Regiment on the 4th of October 1817 at Armagh. Michael discharged on the 26th of November 1838 at Fermoy
