Welcome to the high resolution gallery. This is where you will find the
best quality downloads we have available. Large file sizes are required to do
this and long download times go hand-in-hand with them. The following
suggestions will help to make the viewing and download more bearable.
1. The displayed "thumbnail pictures should be big enough for most people to decide if they want to view or download the full size picture. If you hold your mouse cursor over a picture the full description (the filename) will appear on the bottom of your browser screen.
2. If you want to view the full size file simply click on the thumbnail. Be warned, however, that many of the pictures are much larger than the browser screen and will require using the scroll bars to view the entire picture.
3. If you want to download directly from the "thumbnail" just right-click and select "save-target-as" to start the download to a folder of your choice. This is the command for Internet Explorer 5.5. If you are using Netscape or another browser there will be a similar command. The full size file will be downloaded.
4. If you already have the full size picture active in you browser you can download it by right-clicking on it and selecting "save picture as". Again this is the Internet Explorer terminology.
I hope these directions are helpful. I would like to know what you think of this gallery. Do you prefer it to the main picture galleries? What can I do to improve it? (less pictures per page, more pages?)
