FLEET, Laura Bell Olivia - 91, Ecum Secum, Guysborough Co., Nova Scotia, died October 24, 2002, in Melville Lodge, Herring Cove, Halifax Co. Born in Ecum Secum, she was a daughter of the late Arthur W. and Annabell (Pye) Fleet. She is survived by daughters, Phyllis Veinotte, Mineville; Fanny (Mrs. Aquilla LeBlanc), Kearney Lake; Joan Gallagher, Chelmsford, Ont.; Georgina (Mrs. Howard Forest), East Jeddore; 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; sisters, Lula P. Dorey, Primrose; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband, George E.; infant son, George; three grandchildren; sisters, Marie, Helen, Alice, Pearl; brothers, Watson, Jeffrey, Ernest. Cremation has taken place under the direction of D. S. Crowell & Son. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. today with prayers at 4 p.m. in Ecum Secum Funeral Home. Committal in St. Barnabas Cemetery, Rev. Katherine Tait officiating. Donations may be made to St. Barnabas Church Cemetery Fund.
