The arms of John Laing Weir (1801) describe a quartered arms given in two parts:

2407) Argent on a fess azure three mullets of the field, in chief a fleur de lys gules (1st and 4th quarters); over all in the center of the four quarters a spur-revel (rowel) of six points gules.

4729) Argent three piles conjoined in point sable, in the middle chief point a martlet or (2nd and 3rd quarters); over all in the center of the four quarters a spur-revel of six points gules.
