 Klaus Prufer (left) with Bill and Margaret Dobie at Nym Lake. Klaus was a printer at the Atikokan Progress for a few years. A year or so after this was taken he moved to Vancouver where his brother lived. He built a sailboat, got married, and he and his wife sailed the boat part way to Hawaii but they were swamped in a storm but rescued. In the early or mid-1970's Klaus was murdered in Nanaimo, BC. |
