This is not exactly true. On 8-29-00 we got a motel room in Lakeville, MN. We then went to Apple Valley, MN to visit relatives of my wife. The first thing we did when we got to Apple Valley was to get the car washed; the first time since we left San Diehgo. It was one of those "no touch" car washes. The dry cycle was a VERY strong air blower. The following morning, as I was packing up the car, I noticed that the dome light was hanging by it's wires. We went to the Potniac store in Apple Valley, but all they could do was to unplug the light, and hand it to me.
Close examination of the dome light indicated that it was broken at the time the car was built. The "blow dry" must have shaken it loose. The Potniac store in La Mesa, CA fixed it... No charge.
