The group's aim is to promote an interest, not only in the local history of Brighouse and district, but also in historical matters in general

Founded in 1988, the group invites speakers to the meetings to talk on a wide range of subjects in a friendly and informal setting

The Current Programme of Events

Meetings

The Society meets at 7:30 pm on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at Brighouse Rest Centre, except during the Summer, when we make visits to places of historic interest

Non-members and Visitors are welcome

Annual membership: Adult members £8.00

Admission for Non-members and Visitors is £2 per meeting

The above does not include the summer outings which are charged separately
