This is the plant of the former Egerer Zeitung, a newspaper which spewed
Hitler's muck to the Sudetenlanders until the city of Cheb (Eger) was taken by Americans. Much
of the job printing still intact in the plant was of the nature of "spoils work"
handed down by big-wigs to faithfuls of the press. In the plant are several thousand
copies of a book entitled: "USA Dollar Diplomacy and Wall Street Terrorism."
which carried the old, well-worn theme of America Hitler had stereotyped in the minds of
the German people.
Today these same presses are carrying the forms of the Decoy Doughboy; the linotype
machines which only yesterday ground out their slugs of ,,Anschluss" and "Alies
for Deutschland', now turn out official notices for a Contituional Government, the
Republic of Czechoslovakia. |
