Union School, Oxford
209 South Beech Street

Union School was Oxford's first major public school structure.  It was constructed on the corner of Beech and Collins, where the Church of Christ was later built.  It was named "Union School" because its students came from Oxford as well as College Corner and Morning Sun.  The building served the area as an elementary school until 1886.
