In 1873, the paper manufacturer, Oglesby, Moore and Company was incorporated. In 1887, the name was changed to the W.B. Oglesby Paper Company and a new mill was constructed. The firm was under the management of the United States Playing Card Company and manufactured board for the making of playing cards. |
