This photograph taken in 1909 shows the north side of High Street from Monument Avenue to Second Street.  The building in the middle of the photo with the spire is the Frechtling Building.  The businesses that existed on this stretch of High Street in 1909 include Egry Insurance (132 High), Beeler Drugs, Worthmore Shoes and Clothing, Hotel Howald, Bentel Jewlery, and Spoerl Hardware (164 High).
