Airdome Movie House, Middletown
Manchester Avenue and Verity Parkway
The Airdome Movie House, built by William Gordon, was so named because of its circular, covered top.  It was the largest local theater, seeting 1,000. Around 1913, Gordon converted the Airdome to a skating rink and erected a new theater, the Gordon Theater.  The Airdome was destroyed by fire in 1915.
