I am not sure how to get a message out so I am trying this way.

I have a book written by Clara Baker Le Maire which is about the Bakers,
Slater's and some Bozeman's. I am going to write a quote from the book in
hopes someone can shed some light on the Bozeman connection.

There was a "Slater Mile Long Wagon Train" that made its way across Georgia
and Alabama into Mississippi in 1817. John Baker , of English descent,
married a pretty girl with Indian blood, named Christina Lavasta Slater, a
granddaughter of Thomas Beal Slater. She was the daughter of Warren and Mary
Bozeman Slater. (Warren the 10 month old baby of the wagon train). Levasta's
mother, Mary, a tall woman, was of half Chickasaw Indian blood. Levasta was
the oldest of Warren and Mary's children. Levasta's parents (Warren and Mary
Bozeman Slater) had two other children, a son John and a younger daughter
whom they called Sarah. John Slater married Minnie Newsom. Sarah married
Minnie's brother, John B. Newsom.

I have Mary Bozeman being born in 1834 and deceased in 1909. She is buried
in the Slater Cemetery in Prentiss, MS.

I am trying to trace this Mary Bozeman. So any information would be
appreciated.
