SECOND GENERATION

2.  Walter N. BURRELL SR was born in 1752 in Spartensberg, South Carolina.  There are a number of researchers who have his DOB 3/28/1742 Falkland Fife, Scotland.  He died after 1800 in SC.

He was married to Mary BROWN (daughter of Andy BROWN).    Mary BROWN was born in Pendleton District, SC.  She was a full blood Cherokee Indian.  Walter N. BURRELL SR and Mary BROWN had the following children:

          3                i.   Hardy ?William? BURRELL.   He moved from SC to Gwinnette Co., GA between 1810 and 1830.

        +5              iii.   Walter N. BURRELL JR.

        +6              iv.   Jesse BURRELL.

          7               v.   William BURRELL.  His mother may have been Mary Pruitt.

He was married to Mary PRUITT (daughter of David PRUITT).  Mary PRUITT lived Pendleton District, SC in 1785.  She was in  Spartanburg District, SC in 1790.  She was born 1755 in Spartanburg, SC.
