I HAVE LONG BEEN A FAN OF YOURS, AND YOUR EFFORT TO KEEP YOUR WEBSITE ON LINE, IN PARTICULAR YOUR EFFORTS TO KEEP THE GILPIN FAMILY WORK POSTED.  I DON'T KNOW GARY BRYANT BUT I WAS QUITE THRILLED TO SEE HE HAD SENT MY FATHERS WORK (EDGAR GILPIN) AS WELL AS THAT OF DR. BUHRL GILPN, TO YOU.  IF HE WERE STILL ALIVE IT WOULD BRING HIM MUCH PLEASURE TO SEE WHAT YOU ARE DOING.

          I NOTICE THAT YOU DO NOT HAVE A SECTION FOR THE FAMILIES ARTISTIC BENT.  EARLY MEMBERS OF THE FAMILY, LIKE SAURY GILPIN, HAVE ART WORK IN THE TATE GALLERY IN LONDON. (EXAMPLE ATTACHED) HIS WORK ALONG WITH THAT OF  BENJAMINE WEST REPERSENT THE FAMILY TALENT PROUDLY. 

          IN AMERICA, THE SOUTHWESTERN PHOTOGRAPHY OF LAURA GILPIN. IS RECOGNIZED.  IN THE BOOK BY HENRY C, PITZ "THE BRANDYWINE TRADITION " THE GILPIN AND PAINTER HOUSES WERE USED TO SCHOOL SUCH ART STUDENTS AS HENRY PILE. N.C.WYETH, FRANK SCHOONOVER, AND ANDREW WYETH WERE ENROLLED.

          THANK YOU AGAIN FOR YOUR GREAT WORK, I WILL BE LOOKING FOR WHAT YOU DO NEXT FOR THE FAMILY HISTORY.
