St. James Baptist Church Cemetery is located in Wharton on Hwy 102 near 59. It is located directly behind Naya Plastics Plant. There are many headstones here that the ground has swallowed and only a piece of them is sticking out, and more that are covered with grass. Many are not marked and are only indentions in the ground. It is very sad to see military headstones that are covered with dirt. |
