This Cemetery Transcribed By Janet Barrett Hobizal in April 2008 from photos taken by her in 2006 and from the cemetery survey taken by Sammy Tise on February 1, 1995.

This is a fairly large black cemetery which has 132 marked and unmarked graves. The oldest death date on a marker is 1910 so the cemetery has been there at least 98 years.

There are least 5 former slaves buried here and probably more that the stones cannot be read.

The cemetery is in Quadrant II. To get to the cemetery go south on FM 102 to CR 267, turn right and go to the intersection of CR 267 and CR 249. The cemetery is on the left at the intersection. The gate faces CR 267.
