C.J. Bythewood

C.J. Blyhewood was appointed on December 11, 1880 and served until November 7, 1882. [from Texas County Sheriffs book.] In the election of 1882 a Perry Clark was elected on the 7th of November but only served 20 days and then resigned, At which time C.J.'s brother D.W. who was a dentist was appointed as Sheriff.
