Halhe Mae Gordon, the six months-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Gordon of Lane City, died on Wednesday night of whooping cough. The remains of the little one were brought to Wharton for interment in the City Cemetery. Mr. Gordon is a son of Mayor G. S. Gordon, and he and his wife have the sympathy of a large circle of Wharton friends in their bereavement. Rev. J. L. Williams of the Methodist church conducted the funeral service.
