A.H.R. Fullerton Dead.

Dies suddenly at Houston From Pneumonia Attack---Well Known Here.

The many friends of Mr. A.H.R. Fullerton, here, were greatly shocked this week to learn of his death last Saturday morning at Houston Heights from that dread disease, pneumonia. Mr. Fullerton was well known in Wharton, having married several years ago a Wharton girl, Miss. Corinne Cooper, sister of Mrs. J. F. Estill.
He had many friends in this section and throughout the state, and was considered one of the best salesmen on the road. For several years he represented the H. B. Claplin Company of New York, and has been connected with several of the largest firms of the country. The illness was contracted about two weeks ago from exposure to the weather, he having been caught out in a heavy rain storm on one of his regular buggy trips in east Texas. Thoroughly wet from the cold rain and unable to change to dry clothing for several hours, a severe cold was contracted which rapidly developed into pneumonio. He was hurried to his home in Houston Heights and soon removed to the St. Joseph infirmary, where every attention from skilled physicians and trained nurses was given, but the grim disease could not be stayed.

The funeral services were held at his home in the Heights Sunday afternoon under the auspices of the Masonic lodge, of which order he was a member, assisted by Dr. Bishop, a Presbyterian divine of Austin, and Rev. T. C. Windham of Houston. The remains were laid to rest in beautiful Hollywood cemetery, surrounded by many sorrowing friends and relatives. The floral offerings were many and beautiful, the grave being entirely hidden and banked by these beautiful offerings. The Spectator extends to his relatives, and especially to his bereaved young widow, its sincerest and heartfelt sympathy.
