Elderly Egypt Man Deceases

John Brooks

At the age of 81, Mr.
John Brooks died, death
came to him at his
home in Egypt, Wednesday,
February 12, 1958

at 2:15 p.m. Funeral services were held in
the tabernacle at Egypt.
Rev. H.Y. Davis
presiding. Mr. Brooks was
a member of Sand
Ridge Baptist Church
of which Rev. Davis is
Pastor.

To suffer his passing
are two daughters, two
sons, four grandchildren,
five brothers,
George, Billy, Willie,
Richard and Weils.
Also two sisters, Clara
and Rissie, and many
nieces and nephews and
friends.

The funeralization was
under the direction of
the Phillip and Luckey
Co. of Rock Dale.
