James Ferguson
, the son of Captain James Ferguson Lieutenant Governor of Greenwich Hospital, arrived on HMS Sirius as a midshipman. In July 1790, he drowned in Sydney Harbour when a whale overturned his boat.Newton Fowell
, a midshipman, volunteered for the expedition to Botany Bay and in September 1787 was promoted Second Lieutenant of HMS Sirius. Promoted to First Lieutenant in March 1790, he was sent on HMS Supply for urgent provisions to Batavia where he died.James Furzer
sailed on HMS Sirius as second lieutenant and quarter master. He served on several military courts and civilian courts and was arrested by Major Ross in June 1788 for refusing to alter the sentence of a court martial. He left the colony in December 1791 leaving behind a son, James Patrick, born to Ann Paisley. In April 1793, he was promoted to the rank of capatian. He died in Jamaica on 18 February 1799.
