Dibble, the son of Ezra and Deborah Dibble, was born in the State of New York, August 10, 1810. Mr. A.C. Dibble has resided in the township of Conneaut since 1825. His father was a native of Massachusetts, where he was born June 30, 1778, and his mother, of Conneaut. The date of her birth is November 14, 1781. His mother died in Conneaut Township, August 7, 1848, and his father in the same place, February 15, 1856. Mr. Dibble came to Ashtabula County with his parents in 1810. His education was such that he was able to acquire in the common district schools during the winter months of his boyhood. Mr. Dibble is a useful and worthy citizen, and has ever been held in high esteem by his fellow citizens. He has held numerous offices in his township; has been justice of the peace since 1854; has held the office of township trustee and assessor. In 1834, March 15, he was united in marriage with Diadena de Marauville. Their children have been Deborah A., born October 10, 1841, who was married to Rufus Frock, and now living in Amboy; and Ezra H. Dibble, born October 3, 1844, is married and is living in Dallas County, Iowa. Mr. Dibble lost his wife April 27, 1874, and on the first day of October, 1876, married Ellen M. Fuller, with whom he is now living. A Republican in politics and a member of the Free and Accepted Masonic Society, he occupies an influential position among his neighbors, by all of whom he is held in high esteem."
