
PRIVATE JAMES WYLLIE.
This is a photograph of Private James Wyllie, the son of Mr. and Mrs. James
Wyllie, 27 Caellepa, Bangor. He joined the Royal Welsh Fusiliers at the outbreak
of war, and was sent to France on December 22, 1915. He was the first from
Bangor to win the Medal for Bravery on the battle field, and he also won the
Mons Star Medal. He was killed in action on June 22, 1916, at the age of 20
years.
